All roads lead to one of the best shows in the Northwest! It's always affordable fun for the entire family! Located in Albany, Oregon at the Linn County Expo Center, the Winter Rod and Speed Show returns January 17-18, 2025. Over 100 cars, including hot rods, muscle cars, bikes, low riders, custom trucks and race cars from all over the Northwest gather for an unusual car show like no other! This year we will feature the iconic Batmobile tribute car. No it's not the exact same car that was on the TV show but still the car to see with the same dimensions and looks as the original. Also this year is Bob Shaw's beautiful "Bad Ass 34", and the OSU Freightliner. This will be the last time its ever shown! See cars from as far away as Seattle and Spokane! We got'em from the best to even a couple of the absolute worst, the Winter Rod and Speed Show has something for everyone! Meet Buddy Hull! This year Meet NHRA FUNNY CAR DRIVER and SHOW HOST BUDDY HULL! Buddy is a rising star in NHRA drag racing and is now the host of the Online TV series Talkn' Funny Cars also shown on NHRA TV. Buddy, who previously was the owner and driver of his own Top Fuel Dragster now drives a nitro funny car owned by Southern California drag racing legion Big Jim Dunn. Buddy is coming all the way from Dallas, Texas to do what else? Talk Funny cars and sign autographs. FRIDAY NIGHT is KLOO FM Food Drive Night! Rock to Back Again!!! On Friday night, it's KLOO FM NIGHT. Rock out to the sounds of Back Again! Back Again has open for such bands as the Fabulous Thunderbird, Cheap Trick, Blue Oyster Cult and even 38 Special! They will be playing your favorite 70's and 80's hits live on the show floor. Bring a canned or non-perishable food item on Friday night and you will get in for 5.00! These items will be accepted on Saturday too but only counts as a 2.00 off coupon. Swap Meet and Model Car Extravaganza!!! On Saturday, there is a swap meet in the Santiam Building and in the front lobby there is a giant model car contest. Bring a completed model for the contest and get in the show for free! Fifty Pairs of Passes to Woodburn or Willamette Given Away Each Day!!! Free the adults tickets to Woodburn Dragstrip or Willamette Speedway to the first 50 people throught the door on both days. Also, folks that did not include an email in the application will receive a delayed response via US Mail. Charitable Giving information The Winter Rod and Speed Show is NOT officially recognized as a charity by the US or State Government. Each year a very generous portion of the proceeds are donated at will to a 501C3 charity after expense are met while an additional amount is held back and used for seed money for the following year to cover deposits, promotions, printing, advertising, and some travel expenses to get the show off the ground. Air fare and lodging for featured guests may also be included while organizing this event. In addition, a Food Drive is held on the Friday Night of the event and annually collects over 1,000 lbs of nonperishable food is collected for FISH of Albany. Since 2022, FISH of Albany has been selected as the dhow's beneficiary. Your participation and understanding as a vendor, a car exhibitor or a spectator is very important to the success of this incredible charity.
