Winter Rod and Speed Show Returns to Albany, January 17-18!

The Winter Rod and Speed Show is coming January 17-18 to the Linn County Fair and Expo Center located just 19 minutes south end of Salem just off I-5 near the Albany airfield.

This year our celeb guest is NHRA Mello Yello Series Top Fuel star Justin Ashley! Justin will be signing photos and visiting with fans and well wishers. You have seen him on TV now you can meet him at the show! Please give Justin a warm Oregon welcome since he's coming all the way from New York!

Also just announced is the return of famed automotive and racing artist Kenny Youngblood who will be signing and customizing originally designed pictures at the Break the Chain booth. A new must see this year is the wild and crazy "Lincoln Terminator" rat rod. The king of all rat rods you have to see it to beleive it! The seats are made of real aligator skin and this car will snap at you if you get too close!

For the kids there will be face painting and balloon animals. Plus a free packaged Hot Wheel car for the first 75 kids each day! And don't forget about the giant model car contest, the biggest in the entire state!

For th adults: one free pass to any 2020 race at Woodburn Dragstrip! Limited to the first 75 people through the door each day!

The show opens for exhibitor and vendor set up on Friday from 9 to 6. The show opens to the general public at 6 PM. We will stop admitting the public at 9 PM although if you are already inside you can continue to walk around. Friday Night is also the Friday Night Food Drive! Bring in a can a food on Friday night and get in for just $6.00. On Saturday, the show opens at 9AM and concludes at 6PM after the awards.

Charity Disclaimer:
The Winter Rod and Speed Show is not officially recognized as a charity. Each year a very generous portion of the proceeds are donated to a 501C3 charity after expense are met while an additional amount is held back and used for seed money for the following year to cover deposits, promotions, printing etc. Time, travel expenses, air fare and lodging for featured guests may also be included while organizing this event.
In addition, a Food Drive is held on the Friday Night of the event and annually collects over 1,000 lbs of nonperishable food is collected for FISH of Albany. Your participation and understanding as a vendor, a car exhibitor or a spectator is very important to the success of these charities.
