Returns to Linn County Expo in Albany The roads in the valley are clear up and the show will go on as scheduled this Friday Night and Saturday!     The Winter Rod and Speed Show presented by AA Towing and Anderson Enterprises will live up to it's name this weekend but not to worry as the snow and ice are gone and now the winter storm of this past week in Western Oregon is now in the past! Located in Albany, Oregon at the Linn County Expo Center returns January 19-20, 2024. Over 100 cars, including hot rods, muscle cars, bikes, low riders, custom trucks and race cars from all over the Northwest gather for a show like no other! See cars from as far away as Seattle and Spokane! We got'em from the best to even a couple of the absolute worst, the Winter Rod and Speed Show has something for everyone! See a replica of one of the most iconic TV cars! Holy Cow Robbin! See a special movie TV tribute car like no other! It took over 30 years to build. KLOO FM Night! Rock to Back Again!!! On Friday night, it's KLOO FM NIGHT. Rock out to the sounds of Back Again! Back Again has open for such bands as the Fabulous thunderbirds, Cheap Trick, Blue Oyster Cult and even 38 Special! They will be playing your favorite 70's and 80's hits live on the show floor. Bring a canned or non-perishable food item on Friday night and you will get in for 5.00! These items will be accepted on Saturday too but only counts as a 3.00 off coupon. Swap Meet and Model Car Extravaganza!!! On Saturday, there is a swap meet in the Santiam Building and in the front lobby there is a giant model car contest. Bring a completed model for the contest and get in the show for free! Give Aways Each Day!!! Free Hot Wheel cars for the first 50 kids each day! Again this year the Winter Rod and Speed Show will feature a seperate swap meet in the Santiam building behind the the main show building! Last year was a total success and we expect the same this year! There is room for nearly 100 10x10 booths. Your $10.00 admission gets you into both the indoor car show and the swap meet! The swap meet will be Saturday only with load in all day on Friday. Have you secured your swap meet space yet? Charitable Giving information The Winter Rod and Speed Show is NOT officially recognized as a charity by the US or State Government. Each year a very generous portion of the proceeds are donated at will to a 501C3 charity after expense are met while an additional amount is held back and used for seed money for the following year to cover deposits, promotions, printing, advertising, and some travel expenses to get the show off the ground. Air fare and lodging for featured guests may also be included while organizing this event. In addition, a Food Drive is held on the Friday Night of the event and annually collects over 1,000 lbs of nonperishable food is collected for FISH of Albany. Since 2022, FISH of Albany has been selected as the show's beneficiary. Your participation and understanding as a vendor, a car exhibitor or a spectator is very important to the success of this incredible charity.
